Thanks to the “Cuir de fleur” accord common to every Carlotha Ray perfume, the Palo Santo & Patchouli Vert perfume can be worn alone or layered with our other perfumes for a unique custom-made fragrance.

Like jewelry layered according to our desires, Palo Santo & Patchouli Vert pairs beautifully with our Rose Blanche & Gardenia, allowing the two roses to intermingle: the fleshy, fruity red rose in Palo Santo & Patchouli Vert becomes rounder in contact with the rose in the Rose Blanche & Gardenia for a refined effect.

 Each Carlotha Ray fragrance is the result of unique French expertise, combining the tradition of French high perfumery with ecology and sustainability.
For the design of our bottles, Mariela Schwarz Montiel wanted to “invite herself into every woman's handbag, with an object reminiscent of the ultra-sleek compacts of the 1930s”.
  • She entrusted their design to French architect-designer Julien Gaubert, who designed an ultra-sleek and featherlight bottle (a mere 106 g/3.74 oz) embellished with Carlotha Ray's letter “C” emblem on its base. Its surface is adorned with a “C” resembling Seigaiha patterns for a vintage spirit.
  • Obvious shapes often come from a simple idea: here the elegant logo gives the bottle its personality and silhouette. A simple streamlined shape with stylized vegetal evocations combining innovation and modernity with 1930s elegance.” explains Gaubert.
  • With our environment always in mind, each Carlotha Ray perfume bottle is refillable and recyclable. Our bottles are made with 40% recycled glass and their hand-polished beech wood caps are made from sustainably managed forests. Made from recycled FSC paper, the case is also 100% recyclable.


Reminiscent of Mariela Schwarz Montiel's grandmother and the warm,
nostalgic atmosphere of her bedroom in Paraguay, where the fragrance of palo santo wood
furniture pervaded the room and green patchouli leaves were placed in the laundry to
perfume the newly washed linen.
